Tofu is great for us veggies! It’s really versatile and a good source of some much needed nutrients. Tofu can get pretty boring and spongy so try mixing it up with marinades and different cooking techniques. This is a quick little asian marinade for tofu which couldn’t be easier and by oven baking it’s healthy too.
Ingredients:
1 Block Firm Tofu
1 Lime, juiced
1 Garlic Clove, crushed
1 tbsp Sriracha
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Honey
1 tbsp Sunflower Oil
Method:
1. Drain your tofu and pat dry with a paper towel. Make sure it is completely dry. Cut it up into medium size cubes (about an inch wide).
2. In a bowl mix together the crushed garlic, Sriracha, soy sauce, sunflower oil, and honey.
3. Leave the tofu to marinade for at least an hour.
4. Pre-heat the oven to 375º. Remove the tofu from the marinade and place on a baking sheet even spread.
5. Bake for about 30-40 minutes turning several times while cooking until its golden brown. Enjoy with noodles and stir fried veggies.
