I love making lemonade at home because its so easy and the end result is delicious. I think making lemonade fresh tastes so much better than the stuff you can buy and usually its better for you. However in the summer one of my go-to Starbucks orders if the green tea lemonade. It is yummy and made me try and make something similar at home. This isn’t like what you would buy but I think its a lovely natural and simple version.
Ingredients:
100g Sugar
250 ml Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
1 1/2 Litres Water
1 Lemon sliced
4 Green Tea teabags
1 Cup Ice
Method:
Brew the kettle and let the 4 teabags step in 250 ml of hot water until the water cools.
In a large jug measure the sugar and add the lemon juice.
Fill the jug with the remaining water and the brewed tea.
Add the sliced lemon and the green teabags into the jug.
Let it sit in the fridge for as long as you can. At least an hour though.
When you are ready to serve add a cup of ice and enjoy.
