These lovely little meatballs are greek inspired and work really well on salads, in pitas, or on top of pasta. Lower in fat than red meat they are great for a healthy alternative. Dollop on some tzatziki and enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 pack Turkey Mince
1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
1/4 cup Red Onion, diced
1/4 cup Feta Cheese, crumbled
1 tbsp Dried Oregano
1 Egg Yolk
Salt and Pepper
Olive Oil
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 350º.
- In a large bowl, add all the ingredients for the meatballs and season with salt and pepper. Combine well using your hands or a spoon.
- Roll the mince into small balls using the palm of your hands. Place on a baking sheet with a little bit of olive oil to prevent them from sticking to the tray.
- Bake in the oven, rolling several times, for about 20 minutes until they are golden brown.
